Podcastはもはやフツーなことになってきているが、Amazon.comは今月より、Amazon Wireという名称でPodcastを開始した。
第1回は「オーシャルンズ１１」などでおなじみ、スティーブン・ソーダーバーグ監督、「コールミー」などのヒット曲が懐かしい「ブロンディ」のギタリストChris Stein、Freakonomics共同著者のStephen J. Dubnerらが登場する。長さは、21分。なかなか面白い。特に、Stephen J. Dubnerによるオーディオエッセー「Teaching Monkeys to Use Money」がいい（初出は「NY Times Magazine」）。
当然、Podcast説明ページには、取り上げられる作品／商品へのリンクが満載。
このPodcastがAmazon.comの売り上げにどのように貢献するのか、興味深い。
